New Kool Keith (produced by WMS the Sultan) – “Two Scoops”

Now here’s something that you don’t get on the average hood-hop site. Like the rest of you non-conformists out there, I love nothing more than a wet Kool Keith brain queef. That particularly goes for when he’s fucking with a producer like the Sultan, who brings a wholeheartedly edgy yet traditional approach to backdrops.

This cut is simultaneously strange and accessible, while of course leaning toward the former. Feeling the fuck out of it – can’t wait to check the 20-plus discs that Keith has slated for 2010. I’d love to hear more shit like this that doesn’t sound like his beats are channeling extraterrestrial mating calls.
