Fresh Kweli Joint off the New Statik EP

Though 2009 was a big year for Statik Selektah – he laced album joints for M.O.P. and OC&AG, among others – he put the brakes on solo albums. Or so we thought. Apparently he had enough vittles to serve an appetizer before the next full meal comes in 2010.

This is one of the lead singles off Statik’s Pre-Game EP, and, much like the other times he’s worked with Talib Kweli, dude manages to harness whatever skills are left in the Black Star MC’s arsenal. There was also a fresh Bahamadia joint that I wanted to share with y’all, but I slept and now the link is dead.

    i think white hiphop artists should make an effort to keep their faces of their album covers.

    i bet theyd sell better.
