Before you bitch about how bad my list is, please remember how much more new music I listen to than most of you assbeads. I’m also sorry if your roommate’s mixtape didn’t make the cut, but that Air Supply sampled is hella played out.
I’m not suggesting that these are the absolute best 50 tracks of 2009; more than anything else, this compendium is a testament to how much phenomenal hip-hop continues spilling despite the hating and pessimism that flood the rap blogosphere.
With that said; I encourage heads to comment about fresh singles that I might have missed. But until you’ve checked every one of these cuts, you’re a schmuck to lambaste my taste.
So happy holidays. This is my gift to anyone who constantly claims that boom bap has been stagnant since 1996. Acquaint yourselves with these gems and then talk to me.

Little Young? are you fucking serious?
Masta Ace is a Top 5 rapper for me, no question, but that song is trash just like the rest of that A&E album.
You probably think I’m a hater & you’re god damn right I am, but that dsnt mean I’m wrong.
