Good to see Dame Dash is taking his Roc-A-Fella walk-away money and putting it into something more productive than a Jim Jones theater production. But of course, the capo is still involved. In this case, the project is Blackroc–a collabo featuring the Black Keys and assorted heads such as Mos Def, Raekwon, RZA, Pharoah Monch, Billy Danze, Ludacris, ODB, Q-Tip, Jim “couple cold waters” Jones and others. How did I miss this a couple months back? Probably because the big homie Jay-Z was hogging all the spotlight for his shitty BP3 album…just like he jumped on the parade float when the Yankees won the title last week. saw this a lil while back. never thought i would be excited for a dame dash release since the roc broke up. but this shit got me amped. dame saving hip hop never wouldve predicted that.
