Quasi-Dancefloor Mayhem from Ape$hit and Undu Kati (Ape & Un)
Posted on September 1, 2009 by Chris Faraone

I just dug through a ton of new tracks looking for something below the radar to drop on your spoiled domes, and I think I found that shit that you’ve been looking for. It comes from New Hampshire hitters Ape$hit and Undu Kati (Ape & Un), whose Jaw & Order drops mighty soon.
I’ve always dug Ape – as a battle rapper he’s swung through Boston on numerous occasions to snatch belts; as a recording artist he’s delivered fresh verses with his Trapjaw Affiliates (Granite State, DC the Midi Alien, etc.).
This here joint – “Do Our Thang” – is that ripe mix of hip-hop, end-of-summer party fuel, and hipster flavor that stands a real chance of going viral (which is the 2009 equivalent to going platinum in 1999). Bang it out New Hampshire. Live free or die trying.

Repping that Manchester 603. Ape has skills.
this is dope. what i would love though is an eight bar intro with that beat and no talking, followed by the “doing your thing” part at the end placed before the rapping starts so djs can play this at the club. hook it up if ya can. other djs will thank you. trust me.
