The Big M-Dot Update

When dealing with M-Dot, you gotta condense. If I posted every thing dude sends our way, this blog would be exclusively about him, instead of a pleasant variety of sound advice and thoughtful discussions on smut. That being said, the response to everything we’ve posted has been very positive, and what’s the point of doing this if we’re not going to show love to Boston a/k/a JTTS World HQ. So let’s do this shit.
This is a brief look at M-Dot’s first overseas tour…He’s played dates outside the U.S. before but this was the big one. Filling in for Krumbsnatcha as the tour’s headliner (!), M-Deezy (coined) took the stage in Switzerland, France, Holland and more. They say rappers get better promotion when they’re dead…or when they go to Europe. Peep it.
Here is a pretty thorough video interview with M-Dot done in the studio. Who wrote that Herald article hanging up on the wall…? Some underpaid, under-appreciated scrub hip-hop “pseudo-journalist” (quote from Canibus)/blogger…? Hmmm…

I been hearing his name a lot around Boston. I’m an 88.9 and 94.5 head and I’ve heard him before on both. Kid’s very talented. He deserves the credit he’s gettin cause from my understanding, he does it without a manager, label or financial backing. That’s something to inspire these other local cats who just hate on everyone doing big things to get on their grizzy. Good luck in the future M-Dot, oh and your mixtape is fuckin’ dope, top to bottom, for real.
