Sweet New Macrotones Video: “Book It!”

All you hip-hop heads out there are always talking about how much other music you listen to – even if you really don’t. I’m one of them; when it’s time to throw a disc in, I just can’t take myself to pick something without savage beats and free-flowing profanity and negativity.

Well – this is your chance to open up that mind a bit. The Macrotones are one of the dopest instrumental outfits in Boston – I profiled them a few months ago in the Phoenix, and have been sniffing out their funk since. The sweet ass video for “Book It” – directed by Brandin Tumeinski – is on some Sabotage Dogs shit. Good fuck music too.
