The REAL New Cage Leak (Produced By: El-P)

So… Pitchfork apparently f’d up and leaked the wrong Cage track. That was “I Never Knew You.. ” which I gather might not have been produced by El-P?? Whatever, I’m a little confused..
I must also commend Def Jux on their new approach to internet marketing. I received a very polite email apologizing for “the inconvenience”, and requesting to remove the former file and switch it with this one instead. Two years ago, I probably would have received a cease and desist and gotten several angry phone calls from the DJX HQ .. My thoughts and prayers go out to the poor girl that has to clean up the mess that Pitchfork made.
So basically.. if you were lucky enough to catch the last leak before I took it down — you’ve now heard TWO new Cage tracks in the last 24 hours.

That picture is humiliating, but I love the track. What I’m not looking forward to, however, is watching all those indie rock critics at SXSW pretend that they love Cage so much. Fuck them.
possibly worse than the first.
This is some depressing terrible shit. Did this guy give up pcp and start using heroine?
The part where Cage talks about an enemy being at his funeral – is Cage talking about Copywrite?
Could be. Copywrite knew Camu before Cage I think. I hope there is no beef still.
The track is 80s something. It’s really good music. Cage is alot deeper than I think. I have so much love for him. So scratch any hate on me.
Peace to all.
i didnt know that hipster rap existed, but this is definitly hipster rap. And elpee’s best production was on funcrusher since then it’s only gotten less musical & less hip hop. if you guys wanna do rock & roll pick up a guitar & go on tour with stained
at least this is hip hop.
as opposed to the new video that’s up on mtv.com
i completly agree with merf’s last setence (at least about the other song)
if you want to be in a rock band, grab a guitar and go tour with staind.
