Audio: Brand New Cage Track – Produced By: El-P
Posted on February 10, 2009 by Sleezy Trees

The new Cage album “Depart From Me” has been in the works for a while now and is currently slated for a June 29th release date. This track first appeared on Pitchfork earlier this week, and now we have our first taste of what’s to come from the dude who has Shia LeBouf playing him in a biopic. There’s also talk of a EP dropping around the time of the album. Of course.. Def Jux won’t recognize this as promotion (they never do) and will probably make me take it down in less than 24 hours. So, there you go – get it whilst you can.
El-P laced the beat.

Trees ur a fgt.
horrible
looking at that picture and listening to this song makes me want to slit my wrists and sit in a bathtun full of bleach for ever liking c@gE
man. three childish comments. this track is sweet.
Perfect soundtrack for this shitty site.
WTG Trees, you fgt.
This track sucks fgt…And fuck that fgt trees for postin’ it.
Well at the risk of being called a ‘fgt’ – It seems Cage’s growth from a wannabe gangster with the Smut Peddlers has finally come full circle.
I won’t speak on his fashion or weight loss ’cause that hardly makes the music. I think he is making honest music, which is certainly more than the coke head garbage that most of the stuff he did on EC was.
pitchfork and def jux are giving it away for free too. so i doubt you (or I for that matter) will have to take the track down.
it’s fuckin’ awesome though.
don’t you just want to kick him in the face
