FREE DOWNLOAD: Beantown Artists Around The Innanets..
Posted on January 29, 2009 by Sleezy Trees

The last few days have produced a good amount of hip hop material from kids associated with the Boston hip hop scene. New material from J. Cardim, J the S, and RADIx, a new leak from Termanology, and a never before released Esoteric joint.
Rather than make 5 different posts.. I compiled them all here in this convenient buffet of Beantown boom bap. All of it is on some FREE DOWNLOAD status. Check it out:

DOWNLOAD: J. Cardim feat. Paul Wall, Shawty Lo, Ghost Wridah - Born & Raised
J.Cardim. I never met this dude in 5 years of living in Boston and being affiliated with the scene. I heard he’s kinda a recluse.. but his music is really fucking good. He’s been making powermoves as late, and has a new mixtape dropping in a couple weeks. Paul Wall and Shawty Lo may not be your speed, but TRUST, this dude has heat.

DOWNLOAD: J the S feat. Saigon & Rich Riveria - Oil
The weirdest part of this song — DJ Knife literally predicted the future of rappers using the word “oil” as slang last year. I like J the S; that dude is a Yeti.
This track is offa J ths S’s new mixtape sponsored through 2DopeBoyz.. download it thurr.

DOWNLOAD: Termanology - Tight Pants Are For Girls
Aight.. we get it. If you’re over 25, you’re uncomfortable wearing tight jeans. Loose jeans are all we’ve ever known! But I mean, can we just accept the fact that tight jeans aren’t going anywhere. We can all make rap songs ’till we’re blue in the face, but I’m telling you.. the bitches are into dudes rocking tight jeans right now. That’s why people wear them. Shit, I wish I could fit into some tighter jeans.. I just look all top heavy like a lollipop or something. If you’re still wearing super baggy shit in 2009, you might as well be rocking a sign that says, “I refuse to adapt to fashion trends”. We’re old. It’s a new trend. It’s like campaigning for rotary phones because you prefer the casual feel of dialing.

DOWNLOAD: 7L & Esoteric - So Glorious (Unreleased Alternate Version)
I spotted this on Esoteric’s very nicely designed new website. It’s an unreleased alternate version of a track from 2003.. the bars of death era. Of course, this was also around the time of the plaid pant rocking era of Esoteric. You See..? Plaid pants, Esoteric is forward thinking man. Catch up Term! lol.

Finally, RADIx. Another DJ Knife connection. He used to briefly DJ for these kids. Now they are fucking with Insight (Y Society), and the results aren’t bad. Quite Nyce & Seek are the MCs of the crew. Do yourself a favor and download this joint. I mean.. it’s free, what do you have to lose beside some harddrive space?
