That frothy beared fgt next to Saigon is of course, yours truly. I was surprised at how short Saigon was, and you can’t tell from this picture, but his bicep was the size of my head (no homo), so I wasn’t about to step to him on some “you’re album is never coming out” type shit. Although I wanted to soo badly.

I like the Saigon / Joe Budden beef. It’s fun. Poor Amalgam had an epic fail last night when their streaming video sh*t didn’t work. I blame the Bush Administration for the failure.

Okay, Here I am again looking a little less beared with the god, Ghostface Killah. Ghostface and I spoke at length about sample clearances, and for some reason he seemed to actually be listening to my advice. I said something to the effect of: “if you drop your shit on a major without clearing your samples, you will get sued. drop your non-sample cleared shit through some indie labels”. A few months later I started noticing all these Ghostface albums dropping through Traffic with clearly uncleared samples on ‘em. I’d like to think that I had something to do with this, but of course I’m sure I had absolutely nothing to do with this.

This Ghostface track is off the new Afro Samurai soundtrack. The last soundtrack was really slept on, and had a shitload of RZA gems on there. Go back and find that, cop it our download it, and thank me later.

Ok, while I don’t have a picture of me and Chuck Inglish or Mikey Rocks, I did meet these kids on two separate occasions. I was working @ UGHH at the time and I think their manager just didn’t want them associated with that website under any circumstances. They were trying hard to avoid the whole “backpack” cliche.

This is remix produced by that dude Kenna, who dropped a really great album in 2008 (or was it 2007). Check this out.

Okay – Jay Electronica. Normally I post up the picture I have with him and Pete Rock together, but I figured that shot is getting played out a little. Here he is talking about ethereal energy, black holes, and quantum energy beams with DJ ON&ON. Genuinely a pretty nice guy, and I’m feeling the shit he’s making. Plus he’s currently living on the inner pussy walls of Erykah Badu, with whom he is having a child. Chances are that kid is going to burn a metric ton of incense in his life and more than likely try his/her hand at music.

Aight.. June. He’s worked with Ron Browz, and his manager is a swell guy. I’ve never met him, but I think big things might be in the cards for this guy. Time will tell. He’s starting off on the right foot – because you have to “respect the DJ” always.
