Gotta love me some new Santogold.

At some point in the last two years Project Pat and Three Six Mafia became the go-to Southern rappers for the hipster rap revolution. Maybe I’m missing the point of these dudes as entertainers, (but maybe that’s the point?). The only thing I used to be able to reference these guys with are those atrocious 4 page pen & pixel ads they ran EVERY SINGLE MONTH in the Source in the late 90s.

Whatever.. this song works for some reason. I like it.

Oh and some of you may be saying, Trees, I’ve heard this before, well you’re sort of right. It existed in a similar capacity on the Santogold x Diplo Mixtape, but they used the Disco D version of this song. So yeah.. this is a new version.
