First, I should admit: I’m a total sucker for this kind of shit. Did I pay $400 for some headphones because Dr. Dre was willing to throw his name on them? Sure did. And would I buy these RZA headphones if I had the nerve to drop another few hundred on headphones? Probably, and by that I mean definitely.

So RZA joins the likes of 50 Cent, Diddy and Dre to have his own branded line of high-end headphones, this one being a collaboration with WESC called Chambers, which comes in both Premium ($280) and Street ($170) editions. Will these be good enough to make you enjoy 8 Diagrams? Probably not, but if you are going to buy some celebrity headphones anyway, why not go for the Abbott’s? As far as I can tell, they are the only ones that features an LED equalizer with lights that moves to the beat of the music (in Premium edition only) like some old L.A. Gear joints.
