A Vote for JTTS is a Vote for Freedom

hey there…

Do you like hip-hop?

Do you like Ron Paul?

Illuminati art?

Clancy?

Stories that have already been featured in the Boston Phoenix?

Of course you do! Well, obviously, somebody does. For the second year running, JTTS has been nominated for “Best Music Blog” at the Boston Music Awards. Last year we went through an accelerated version of all five phases of grief in just a couple hours after Ryan’s Smashing Life (they do things like interviews and have someone called a “photo editor”) beat us to the grand prize, but I have to think most of the frustration was dealing with the spectacularly inept elevator system at the Liberty Hotel. I’ve been promised that that will be fixed this year, and what better way to mark that occasion than by taking home the award? We genuinely (straight-face) appreciate all our readers continued support over the years as we continue to try to figure out what the hell we are doing with this site besides throwing the occasional midget clown party and destroying the remainder of JKFGT’s “internet persona.” We shure would like some votes (just enough so we don’t finish last) this year, so please click the link below and VOTE JTTS for “Best Music Blog.” While you are there, go ‘head and vote for DJ Knife (“Best DJ Artist”), who I think is somehow still affiliated with this blog (?) and also of course the best party in Boston, the JTTS-sponsored Fresh Produce at the Good Life (“Best Dance/DJ Night”). A lot of the local artists we’ve featured and supported over the years are up for awards as well, so please, vote early and often.

I voted, only because you took the time to post my pics and crazy email, and it really made my day. Good luck gentlemen.
